Christians Against Poverty
Christians Against Poverty Life-skills Programme available at Kirkham Methodist Church Life can be very tough – especially for people on a limited budget. CAP Life-skills is a free course aimed at helping people on a low income to live happier, healthier lives. It includes practical hints and tips in areas such as saving money, shopping and eating healthily, as well as helping people become more confident and have better relationships. The course provides a fun, relaxed environment, enabling people to get more out of their lives – for less money, and with less stress. In addition to the group sessions there is the opportunity for one to one coaching to help people through specific challenges and to support them in reaching their goals. The 8-week course is run in partnership with Christians Against Poverty who are an award-winning charity. However, you don’t have to be a Christian to attend - everyone who could benefit from it is welcome.
