Kirkham Methodist Church (KMC) is a supporter of Fyle Foodbank - For families in crisis, help from a local foodbank can be a life line and therefore any support would be very much valued.
All food given out by foodbanks is donated. Often this is from schools, churches, businesses, individuals, or through supermarket collections. KMC hold a collection box that the congregation fill on a weekly basis, this box is then taken to the Foodbank warehouse. Often people just add a few items into their weekly shop and then bring to church on a Sunday and this works very well.
